June Update

Kia Ora!

Accessibel team here.

Things have been moving and shaking over this way, and we have lots of news to share!

A few weeks ago, one of our founding team members Bridget Meyer was recognised for her contribution to Accessibel at the Otago Sports Awards, winning the Innovation in Sport Award. The team is extremely proud to receive this accolade after many years of hard work, and it has given us some great momentum.

We have also had a couple of great new profilers jump on board in the West Coast as a part of the Jobs for Nature programme. They have been smashing out some stunning walks over that way, and we have been busy getting them uploaded for you to see!

And… Our new public map is up and running online, currently featuring 34 tracks!

Overview of how to use the public map.

We have new tracks going live weekly, that have been photographed, profiled and moderated to make your outdoor adventures super easy! There are currently tracks available to view in Dunedin, Christchurch, Hurunui, New Plymouth and Queenstown Lakes Districts, with many more to come.
